I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia and have been practicing with individual adults since 2012. I am passionate about helping college students, young professionals, busy moms, and counselors-in-training find better ways of coping with the stresses of life and to ultimately find joy again. I believe that every person has the potential to change. Often a trained ear is needed to deeply understand your unique life experience. This professional skill paired with learning new tools can help you navigate difficult circumstances.
I am known for my attentiveness, empathy, warmth, authenticity, cultural competency, and gentle use of humor. I strive to be ethnically sensitive as a clinician and always assume the position of learner as I listen to my client's unique perspective. I have worked with individuals with the following ethnicities: African American, Latino, Asian, and Caucasian. My lens as a Christian counselor can optionally be utilized as a part of your therapy if you so desire, but how this presents in session will vary based on your preference. I have a background in campus ministry, and this passion for young adults has now evolved into a profession I love.
I have my masters in Professional Counseling. I attended Richmont Graduate University in Atlanta, and graduated in 2012.
I am a member of Licensed Professional Counselors Association of GA.
